We still do it the old school way, we have a Dish on a Tripod, (Sure helps us get signal here in the Southeast with all the trees)
Setup takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
We have the Dual Channel Dish Receiver (do not remember the model #) so it runs the Living Room TV and Bedroom TV with dual tuners and dual remotes, one for each TV.
The Bedroom is only SD signal but it a pretty good picture and works for us.
Still have to notify Dish when we move to get the locals but doing it online with Tech Support is easy peasy.

We bought our 2013 36FL used and it came with a TRAV'LER SK-SWM3 which I converted to a TRAV'LER SK-1000 myself after purchasing conversion used on good ol craigslist. I kept my Carryout for backup when there are to many trees. We just use one of our receivers from home when we are on the road.

Atom Ant if you mean the control box for the winegard, the answer is no, the control box just needs to be reprogrammed to the dish network settings.

Yep that's what I was talking about. That's great you can just reprogram it.
