Just a word of caution. The DirecTV guy used our antenna wire to connect the SWM system in our 36RL. It works fine but now we don't have access to local channels picked up by the antenna. Make sure they don't use your antenna wire to connect the dish. Our unit is wired for satellite so the DirecTV guy will be visiting again soon to undo what he did.

SWM is Single Wire Multiset. Your DVR uses the coax cable to feed recordings to your other DirecTV sets. Check with your installer for details. They change the LNBs on the dish to enable the process. You can watch a recording in the bedroom and live tv in the living room or outside. Really nice feature.

Direct TV is boasting wireless feeds to the other sets now, so they shouldn't have to hijack your other cables.
