Ya it gets a little dark in there without any vent. I would have even liked a vent, even without the fan.

I love the one in the bedroom. The sound and the fresh air put me to sleep like a baby!

Looking at the options sheets for 2016 both before and after the September change, I do not see one offered in the bedroom.

The new FL models I saw do not even have a vent in the bedroom anymore like ours does.

We use the vents in the bedroom/bathroom all the time when showering to exhaust moisture. RW needs to at least go back to putting a powered vent (non Maxair) in these areas as standard items. Both of our Montana's had them as standard. Is is a step down to not have them now in the RW's. Can't imagine not having them. The boss lady would not be happy without them.

Why in the world would you design a bathroom without a vent?

I'm trying to figure out why they design bathrooms without a book shelf or TV. I think the women are designing these bathrooms

Dave, men would want the TV on the wall they would be facing while standing, while women would want it on the wall they would be looking at while seated.

Ladies,
My best friend who was in the Army Rangers told me a long time ago that if you have an opportunity to sit down, sit down. If you have an opportunity to lie down, lie down. I have no problem sitting down

Speaking of bathrooms....
There's a hotel here in Louisville that has a men's room with a pee trough; like what you have at ball parks and race tracks. However, this trough has a one way mirror in front of you. You're doing your business while watching the folks watching you in the hallway outside the bathroom. Very interesting.

Thanks everyone! Indeed, the 2016 does NOT include a Maxx fan option for the bedroom, but we had hoped to ask them if they could put one in. We've decided not to after all. Apparently the 2nd air conditioner goes where they used to put the fan. Since there IS a fan in the bathroom area, and the bedroom is rather open to the bathroom in our floor plan, we've decided the bathroom fan should suffice. Makes me wonder why they change this stuff.....or at least they should retain it in their options list. Thanks so much! We finally ordered our 38GK yesterday. :-)

I bet is has to do with the third AC option, but seems it would be nice to still offer a Maxx Fan if you didn't want the third AC, they fit into the same opening.

Plus I heard they reworked the supply return system a little in 2016. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I remember back in the day, the bedroom vent was the only place you could add a 2nd AC. And of not pre-wired, the cord ran down the side and plugged directly into the pedestal.
