We looked at a Redwood with the quartz counter top and holy buckets - beautiful, but the sink covers andstove covers weighed a ton. Like movingtombstones when you want to use it. What is the standard countertop made out of?

I believe with the 2013 the standard countertops are a solid acrylic manufactured by LG to resemble quartz/granite.

Our 2013 unexpectedly came with quartz countertops. What a terrific surprise. There is a second set of sink covers that double as cutting boards and are much lighter than the quartz. They're also pretty handy.

I believe the standard countertops are a solid surface material, the quartz countertops are an option.

Speaking of sink & stove covers, where do you store them when not on the sink & stove?

I store ours on the bottom of the pantry. We have the 36FL and there is a bit of space under the bottom drawer. In our previous 5th wheel, Crossroads Kingston, I stored them under the kitchen sink

We store ours under the fridge on the FL. Lots of room in that drawer

All great ideas for storage of covers. My 2013 36RE stove top covers have multiplecut outs for lifting and do not look as attractive as if they were solid. Do all new models come with cut outs for lifting?

The quartz counters are very nice, but dont forget that they add a ton of weight to the overall coach. The island counter top in quartz on the 36RL not including the sinks weighs over 300 lbs. Plus as already mentioned, the sink covers and stove covers are a good 45 lbs a piece and are extremely brittle. My dealer had a brand new unit arrive with the quartz tops and the island piece was cracked, as was one of of the sink covers. With a cost of $1300 and the weight this material adds, I chose not to order them on my RL.

ya we just looked again and I think the DW can live without the quarts. We are pushing on weight anyway.
