Black Tank Issues...

Anyone else having or had issues with Black Tank leaking and foul odor in trailer only to find out that underbelly panel when removed was full?

Yes, that is a problem on my CR Rushmore. The dealer came out, and said the black tank is ruptured. All summer long I have had to empty the black at about half full, or it runs over, and into the underbelly. The dealer thought it might have been a vacuum issue, when I pulled the handle to dump. Hopefully this week my RW will be here, and the nightmare can end.

Evidently RW is not immune to tank ruptures, anymore than the other brands.

Sorry to hear about the issue. What a miserable job to take on.

My Rushmore is made in the same factory as RW. I've owned several "other" brands, and never had this problem.

Draw your own conclusions Jerry.

Similar issues on the prior Keystone brand I had 3 of, as well as some of the others.

I keep telling you that you might be setting yourself up to fail. Here is a guy that just said he had a failure on his redwood black tank, and you say your new redwood is going to cure all of your rushmore problems. The tanks all come from a few different vendors in Indiana, and most are installed in the same manner across brands.

No, it was the easiest way out for me, to settle for a RW. I really don't trust that this RW is going to be any better than my CR. I can only hope. If I am proven wrong, I will be the first to admit it, and will continually praise the brand.
