Bedroom Slide
Our bedroom slides come in and on the outside it looks like stick out about 3/4" they are tight against the seals just looks odd. Is this normal on a RW I have use CRC on the gears and tracks every few months and both sides are even when in. We have been parked since Feb when we picked up the RW. The slide looked like that when I picked up the RW and I was told that how they look. Now we are moving and going on a few trips over the summer. Have a Trip coming up from Oregon to Ohio and back in late June.

I would say that's the way it is. I know our 36RL looked that way. The newer units with the cable system is setup a little different with the gaskets and seems to fit much closer to the outside wall. At least that's my experience between our 2012 36RL and our 2016 39MB.

Same for our 2015 36RL, it is against the seals but sticks out about 3/4".

Our bedroom slide, the edge closest to the front, was not coming in all the way without manual pressure from the outside. You could see about 3 or 4 inches of the gear rail without assistance to help it all the way in. I read somewhere on the forum that the remedy was to leave the bedroom slide out until the truck and 5th wheel are hitched with all jacks picked up and then hit the switch to bring it in. That is the way we do it now and it always closes perfectly. Don't ask me why, but I would like to know if someone else can explain.

Hammonds, Our bedroom was the same as yours til the service center synced it now comes in square without assistance. Might try to sync it yourself, extend a couple inches then retract & repeat 3-4 times, see if that helps.

On our 2013 36 RL we always brought the bedroom slide in and then went back out 3 or 4 inches to bring it in again. This always brought it back tight. Now that the unit is 2 years old it comes in flush every time. Knock on wood

I have to close my bedroom slide after I'm hooked up to the truck to have it close completely. Got this from a DRV Suites owner who got it from hia dealer.
