39MB Wine Bar ??

HI,

Trying to make some ordering decisions and just saw on web a new floorpan option called "Wine Bar" Sounds interesting. But cannot find any pictures and description. Looks like they take out the half MB bath and put something in. with above cabinets and maybe and some LG Hi Mac counters????

Has anybody seen this?

thanks, Dan and Julie in Flagstaff

Sorry, Have not seen it. Found this on the web. Believe RV Professor and Lady E have this option in their Redwood 39mb. Believe it makes it so you can't use the bathroom while traveling as the 1/2 bath is gone.

The one you are asking about is the unit that the Professor and I live in....with the wine bar option. The counters tops are exactly as on the island and cook top area. The cabinet layout is really well thought out and I love the spacing from the counter top to the bottom of the cabinets. I have the space to put so many different height appliances there... its use is very versatile. Why is my picture sideways ....when it wasnt that way in my picture file. Hmmmm...

Thanks much for good input. We love "Wine at Five" so this might be just the ticket. We rethought the second half bath and feel this would be better utilized space. Plus I think it would make the entry way open and spacious. Is "spacious" a word for a crisp, buttery Chardonnay. Ha.

Just an FYI, you can get to the main bath, you just have to roll over the end of the bed. Not much different than the tight squeeze we had to do with our 36RL.

Our experience is....since we have the slide in a slide feature in the bedroom and each slide is on separate slide control switch, we actually open the small slide about a foot ....and walk into the bathroom. We have never been in a situation where we have had to roll across the foot of the bed.

Of course the downside is overnight guests (if you have them) have to walk through your bedroom to use the bathroom during the night...

Not a problem for us, as our sofa is not a sleeper, so no place for overnite guest. Remember 6-4-2

I'm glad Redwood took that term off the website. We used to hear 6-4-2 on the MOC as well and my wife and I always thought it was a bit arrogant, focused on the full timer in the trailer park. We wondered who got sent home after cocktails.

Baby boomers reach far beyond the full timer, and some, like us vacationers think the wine bar makes a nice place to put the ice filled trash can for the keg and counter top space for the Margaritaville mixer, but having wet swimsuits and sand track through the bedroom to use the bathroom may not be a fair tradeoff

The bourbon bar has actually taken over the margarita bar from our past We have to watch our calories.

If I was to purchase again it would be the MB. Even though the wine bar and butlers pantry would be nice for extra storage, we entertain and having the 1/2 bath so guest aren't traipsing through the bedroom would be for us
