So far the reception has been better with the Jack then before. At the house we receive about 10 more channels then with the batwing.

That's the stuff I drink while I'm watching TV and shouting at the news channel.

One more thing I wish CR would transfer to the RW from the Rushmore, the non raising, non adjustable, antenna that is on my Rushmore. It works great, and one more thing you don't have to remember.

With the Head you still have to raise and lower. I got the whole kit on sale from Camping World for $120. They normally run around $170.

TexasRver - Would you be kind enough to share a PDF of both of your check lists? I have a good feeling they might help keep me from pranging something because of a senior moment of which I am highly prone to having every so often......

I installed "the Jack" in place of my old antenna. Only problem was that the Jack was higher than the old one when retracted.
Tore the new antenna off with a tree branch. (It's plastic). I put the old antenna back on.

Note, if you replace an existing antenna and mast, make sure to get the optional base plate for the Jack. It will cover the holes of the old antenna. I didn't and had to use a foot square patch to cover the original hole completely. This was on another Thor brand.

I am very inept at this computer stuff, but I'll send you something as soon as I can figure out how to do it.
