Wheels and tires

Does anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy the combo package tires and wheels. We put IS w/ disc’s and would like to change to H-rated 17.5. We live in the SF Bay Area CA. We will be traveling so if they are out of state that would be fine.
Thanks,

Many of us on here have purchased wheels, tires and the combo from the former company of Ron Russell (a fellow Redwooder), myself included. Here's the link to the company's page to compare options for yourself:

Trailer Tires and Wheels (http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com/) is another option. They will mount, balance, and ship complete tire/wheel assemblies.

I got my Goodyear 17.5’s from Trailer Tires and Wheels before I knew about Ron. They were great to deal with.

Has anyone run the 17.5 Continental J rated tire?

I looked at those and also the J rated Sailun. Talked to both Ron (Titan Guy) and also Gary Wheeler at MorRyde. Both thought it would be overkill and also that the ride would be too stiff when inflated at 110 or so (there would never be a reason to inflate them to 125). We looked at load charts and realistically the inflation pressure, at least for my rig and it's axle weights would've been 95 psi. But then at that pressure, would we have gotten sidewall deflection in tight turns ?

I ultimately decided to do the tried and proven H rated

Thanks much for the info. After seeing a few pics of what flats do I want no part of it. I have G rated now and will go to 17.5 H.

I had the GY 614s on mine since new without any problems for approximately 60k miles when I upgraded to the Sailun Hs. If Titan Guy hadn't offered such a great deal on the Hs I'd of went to the Sailun Gs.
I run mine at about 115-120 psi & don't notice it rougher than the Gs. On one of the other forums the thread is on inflation & some get so involved in weights, inflation charts due to weight, temperatures that it makes my head hurt. In my opinion the Hs are overkill & due to weight most likely don't need 125 psi, but as Vaughn said the lower pressures cause other problems so 5 - 10 psi less shouldn't hurt. If you have the IS suspension go with the 125 psi, you won't notice the difference In a few pounds.

I have the H Sailun and we're loaded heavy, fulltime like Danny. I also run mine at 110-115 psi, usually if I check them and they're above 112 I don't don't mess with them. We have the IS suspension. Ride is great, I've got about 9k on them now and don't see any wear. Every time I stop I walk the rig with a infrared temp gun and they always are running at a good temp. Highly recommend the Sailun.

The G tires on mine are still good. Do you guys think I should run them for awhile or change them to H now? I have about 6K on them

Discount tire will price match. Might print off the Coach-net list and see if they will. We just put G114's on from Discount. They beat the price SimpleTire had advertised. Got the rims from Trailer Tires and Wheels with free shipping.
All in for $2360.
