Water pressure suddenly low

Well the problem with that is I am in North Dakota and wither is upon us. I am fully skirted in and no possible way of moving now. I am actually going to make a post later and show all the things I've built/had built to make it bullet proof for freezing up. Keeping the furnace going keeping the fridge from freezing up. Because -50 ain't no thing here.

But, any ideas for the camper to be lowering the pressure. I am stumped >.<

ok, having a heated hose may help with the water that's in the hose,
but if elsewhere has frozen, that COULD be part of the issue...

has your furnace (NOT heat pump) been on the whole time it's been freezing ?

Let's make sure we are on the same page...
when you say low water pressure, what is low to you ?
an rv, by design cannot handle anything near what a house can - the max is 8somewherearound 60 psi...

Did you say you checked all the connections - the water filter is not stopped up, the water pressure is low throughout the rv or just in one place ?


ok - let's start at the source...
is there good water pressure outside at the hose bib BEFORE your heated hose ?
If so, next check after the heated hose,
if ok there, check your outside shower,
etc....

it allows me to see (and adjust) the water pressure...

I believe Vaughan (Piper Guy) was experiencing similar issues. I haven't heard if he got it fixed. You might IM him direct.

Mine is in storage and winterized ~ it will be first project in the spring. Planning on replacing all the one way valves but beginning to think it might be bad check valves in the water pump .............

Turn off the water source.
Disconnect the heated hose from the RV.
Attach a spray nozzle of some kind to the heated hose.
Turn the water back on and use the spray nozzle.
If the water only sprays a couple feet, you have an external pressure problem. If the water sprays 20 feet for a minute or more, then your problem is internal.

That's a good idea! Thank you. Now more about this valve. The only one I could find was right by the water pump.

Is that an anti back flow valve? I'm assuming it is.

Also right behind the water heater (didn't get the best look at it) there looked to be something brass looking. Could that have anything to do with?

I have found the problem!!!

Only bad thing is it is because of another problem.
As I was putting a new milk house heater under the camper I noticed my underbelly was sagging...on the camper. Took a knife punched it threw and got the best shower I've gotten in days. So apparently there is a leak somewhere. Where... I have no idea.

What would be the best plan of action? Besides calling my dealer and telling them to get out here because I don't have any free time since we are working 14 hour days as of late >.<

UPDATE: upon further thinking, that might have been water from when I was unhooking my water filter, and other odds and ends to check for blockage. *sigh* the search might have to continue
