Water Hose

Very simple question I think but I have purchased a few water hoses over the years and always end up with kinks over time.
Thought I would ask what your best or favorite water hose has been?

I think it almost makes more sense to just buy the cheap ones and replace accordingly. Like most people,I have purchased expensive hoses only to have them kink just like the inexpensive ones.

Yes, I have....the Rv water filter store. They are expensive but I have used them for years. Really great quality.

I bought a "Blue" Camco Water Hose from Wal Mart, had it for about a year now, holding up good, no kinks.

I have two of those - a little tough to uncoil and lay down nicely. I don't think I would get them again.

I would agree, it is a pretty stiff hose but sure seems durable.

Since we never have to worry about storing the hose (we just lay it in the back of the truck when moving from one CG to the next) it works for us

I have the white with a blue stripe Kant kink or maybe Never Kink. As long as I roll them up properly, they won't kink. If they kink while I roll them, stop and straighten it out it's good. If you leave the kink after rolling it up, it will probably stay.

Check this hose Smartflex by legacy I have a Rv/Marine and a Premium garden hose. They are great but I think they only come in 50ft. They stay flexible even when its cold and I don't have trouble with them kinking

Here's the solution I have come up with: I purchased 4 or 5 of the 10' hoses that CW sells, put quick-connect fittings on all the ends. So if only 10' from the water source, I just use one length, if farther I just add additional lengths.
Ten Feet of hose is much easier to roll up that fifty, but I do carry a 50' for those times the CG has the water in the North Forty.
Works for me and makes hook-up and tear down a snap.

I do the same as above . . . Works like a charm... I also have a baggie full of plastic hose quick connects.( both male and female). I store the unused hoses inside the trap door under the whole house filter

Thats actually a cool idea - we do that with the waste hose, why not the potable.

If you go to HD and find an expensive black rubber hose that has "Goodyear" printed on it, seems like a good one for black water rinse connection doesn't it? Not! It should be labeled "Kinkyear."

The best hose for the black rinse I've found is one of those "as seen on tv" wrinkled up hoses, I also us it when washing the RW so I don't worry about scratching when dragging it across the side while washing the roof.

I think I like this idea and as you mentioned every CG is different...... I use the same set-up on my power washer.
