If I suspect there is water on the slide toppers, I lower the rear of the trailer and raise the front to dump most of the water off the toppers. I usually try to do this the day before so the toppers have a chance to air dry. If I have to do it the morning we are going to move, I dump the water then use a squeegee on a an extendable pole to remove water from the ends of the slides, then, place a towel over the end of the squeegee and finish drying most of the water off before putting in the slides.
