Has anyone had any experience with any of the tire pressure
monitoring systems that monitor air pressure and temperature they sell at
camping world? I would like to get one and at least have a little warning if a
tire heats up or a pressure drops. Also if anyone has use one did you use the
signal booster with the 36RE it’s going to be close to the max range.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

I have a Pressure Pro system and like it. Gives me some assurance that I will know when a tire is going down and maybe I can stop before it blows. It does not monitor tire temperature. The batteries on the senders lasted four years as advertised.

That was my thought also I had one blow on my last camper and
with my truck I had no clue it was going down, no sway or anything just the big
bang. They seem to be a little pricy but if it helps on a little warning to
keep from tearing up the sides I guess it would pay for its self.

I have the Tire Minder it monitors Pressure and temp I had it on my last trailer and it warned me far enough ahead to be able to off the highway before the tire blew or went flat, it's not very good at telling you the pressure before you get underway it takes along time to update but sends the signal right away if a tire stats losing pressure

We have the Tire Traker, same unit as the Tire Minder just sold by a different outfit. Was a special package deal at the Good Sam Rally in Daytona so it came with the extender. So far haven't needed it and we have the RL and a long box extended cab TV.

Thanks for the info I guess I might get one that way you won’t ever need it. But
sure enough if you don’t </span>they might
start losing air and then it’s too late<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

Have You looked at Tire pressure Valve stem Indicators that show green when your inflation is acceptable or red when a tire is low? I believe you can buy a set of four for less than $50. We used them for six years and found them to work great. You should be able to find them at camping world or online

Bill, I know what you're talking about, but they are really hard to see when the wheels are spinning around at 60 MPH andadditionally extremely hard to see from the Drivers seat.

Sorry just couldn't resist.

We traveled for years without any type of monitoring device, even blew a tire and never knew it until we arrived and went to level and couldn't understand why the one side was so low. But now since we do a lot more traveling I decided it was time to get something to monitor the tires while going down the road because a tire can be fine at the rest stop and flat a few miles down the road.

Happy travels,

I posted that I had the Nvision tpms and I found it to malfunction. I contacted the company after 3 years of ownership. The service reps said send it back. I did and they sent me a brand new unit the not only monitors pres but also temp. The new units are completely redone and work mush better Looks good and works good. You can run 4 different vehicles on one monitor. They really came through for me. I guess it is what you feel comfortable with and price. Hopkins Mfg have been around a long time.

Look at Truck System Technologies tpms. I have the 507RV and really like it. Monitors air pressure and temperature.
