Tire Pressure Monitoring System

It's the new guy again and want to thank everyone for all the help so far. Got the B&W hitch installed, Extang solid flip cover on this weekend and washer/dryer is almost finished.
Now..... question is and maybe this is going to far but has anyone installed the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on there RV and if so what are your recommendations? Definitely going with wireless.

Steve

Ya, wireless is good, otherwise the wires get all wrapped around the axles

Steve, going from the Redwood to the truck might take a booster. I haven't done it yet but there are others on here that have and its my understanding that they work well.

TST brand, no boosters needed, don't recall model number, but have all 10 that batteries can be changed by user & displays temp as well as pressure. This is the only one I've ever used so can't recommend any other, but this one is fantastic.

I use truck system technologies tpms. Does an excellent job. Do not need a booster. I have the flow through sensors and they are great as you don't have to remove to add air. Model is 507 RV.

My suggestion, stay away from Tire Tracker and Tire Minder, same thing just different name and it also goes by another name that I don't recall. It does work, but I'm not impressed with how it works and did require the Booster to work with our setup.

TST507, no amp should be needed. TST507 has two different sensors, regular and flow-thru, the regular ones require that you remove the sensor to add air, flow-thru's do not.

We have four regular sensors, all on the truck; 2 front wheels and 2 outside rear wheels. six flow-thru's 2 on inside rear wheels, 4 on Redwood.

The flow-thru's are long and can be problematic on wheels where the sensor extends beyond the edge of the wheel, also difficult to install on the outside rear wheels of thick where the valve protrudes back toward the gap between the two wheels.

We've had the TST system for 2 years...love it!!

If you have G tires keep your air pressure up and take your time on TPMS. If you have E tires, take the money and spend it on G tires.

Such profoundly helpful information :-)
We are getting ready to add this to our RW (already have it on the RAM) and it definitely looks like the obvious choice is the TST 507. We will also be getting the wireless unit ;-P
