storm door/screen door

Is there a screen door available where I can get that has a storm door option where I can slide the plexi glass over the screen if I want to?

Although there may be an option out there, haven't come across one or anyone saying they installed one, but several folks have fitted plexiglass or lexan to their doors. I went the way of cutting and fitting lexan using screen door tabs. I can removed it or put it in depending on weather conditions.

That feature probably not included due to weight and cost...

Some of us have just gone to the big box stores and had plexiglass cut to fit and slide into the slots...http://www.redwoodowners.com/forums/...ght=plexiglass

I found a few online aftermarket doors, but it looks like they have all folded (gone out of business). Time has prohibited me from making one so far, but I did grab a $10 storm window kit with the shrink wrap plastic and tape and installed it over the door last month. Hey, it works pretty good and I am really liking the idea of running the AC with the main door open. If I had options, I would forgo the screen for lexan altogether.

I agree, I like the sun coming in for more light, but want the AC on as well. Let me know how you like your invention.
