Still happy with their Redwood

I received a phone call this afternoon from the couple that bought my 2012 Redwood "The Beauty". They called because they had some brake issues and needed some help

In our conversation she commented on how much they LOVED the Beauty and how much they're enjoying the full time experience. It always nice to hear the positive and know people are happy. She has experienced the problem of having to work through a dealer to get parts while traveling which can be a real obstacle.

When we had that trailer, we estimated well over 35,000 miles on her and now she's still on the road going strong.

Well, I would think a slightly used Redwood is the best buy you can do! All small things are fixed, previous owner is the best teacher ever and price most likely much lower!

Same thing with Redwood as with a normal house, takes some months to get all things to play with each other and the owner!

They're pulling her with GMC and this past summer a dealer installed some sort of box to make the brakes work. This box ended up burning out the disk brakes. Today they called with problems and after getting to a GM dealership they found that the box wasn't needed after all and the brakes were now burnt out. They took it well and are headed back down the road.

Well at least they are finding the issue. Too bad, they are probably having to pay for some of that. Hopefully the original GM Dealer helped offset some of the brake costs.
