I don't know if you are planning on attending the rally in Shipshewana, but I purchased new recliners and an end table that matches our wood perfectly from an Amish builder when I visited Shipshewana. The table has drawers in the front, lift up storage compartment on the top and magazine rack on the back. Outstanding quality!! We actually had all the furniture shipped to our home in Louisiana because we ordered exactly what we wanted. The 2 recliners are narrower than the recliners that come with the Redwood, and much more comfortable. We were able to put both recliners and the end table in the same place as the original ones and still have more room at the dining table for the chairs to pull out.

Very nice. I really like the design of the chairs. Do you remember the name of the company/builder?

Scott, they were purchased from Lambright Comfort Chairs located in Topeka, Indiana, not far from Shipshewana South Campground. The phone number is 260-768-4820. We actually had them shipped to our home because we ordered a color that he didn't have in stock at that time. It is an Amish company and they make the chairs there. They have sofas and other items as well and they do a lot of RV furniture.

We had a buffet added to our kitchen table area by Precision Painting and RV Interiors in Bremen, IN which is a few miles south of Shipshewana/Topeka and where Redwood had our 36RL painted. The Amish craftsman did a beautiful job matching the other RW granite counters, cherry cabinets, doors and hardware. We ordered custom swivel recliners for the rear window area (replacing the couch) and a sleeper sofa for the slide and adjacent to the kitchen/dining table (replacing the two recliners). The new furniture is being built by Amish also and a company highly recommended by Precision Painting and RV Interiors. The new furniture will be installed on our way to Shipshewana in July. We couldn't find better pricing anywhere for this custom furniture.

Now need to find a way to get the shackle links, spring bushings and related bolts replaced before leaving for Shipshewana. I don't want to have an axle drop loose. Wish Titan Guy (did a great job installing our disc brakes) had a crew that could stop by and do this. The local RV "technician" skills have not impressed me including a botched replacement of the hydraulic leveling / slide pump and hydraulic manifold. While in Bremen for the buffet install (and to repair the tire blowout damage that happened on the way for the buffet) a Lippert factory service technician stopped by and completed the repairs to the hydraulic system and did not charge anything even though it was a two hour service call and two hour road trip. Very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant technician. He was very tactful describing what he found that the Kansas City area technician overlooked. The good out of this experience was I learned how to operate the landing jacks and two slides (third slide is electrically operated) using a drill motor and operating the solenoid operated valve's manual override using the online Lippert PDF as I limped to Bremen. Not fun but doable. Just need to stay alert.

Since the furniture (sleeper sofa and swivel recliners) will be installed as we travel to the rally in Shipshewana was wondering if you are attending.

We would really love to make it, we have tried for the past 2 years but something always comes up and prevents it. It doesn't look good for this year either but not for sure until July.

DW had last minute business plans so she couldn't make it. I did the honors and really enjoyed attending. Her plans this year look like she can make. Regardless I will send photos of the furniture.

I know many owners in past threads have discussed various options for recliners and theater seating. If there was a way for you to post the pictures on this forum after the install it will give everyone ideas of what is actually out there instead of just local furniture shops. My wife and I love the recliners and end table we purchased in Shipshewana. Perfect size for our space limited RV's.
