Seen anything like this?

This rig was permanent, but never seen a cover like this, wondered how AC worked under there. No one around to ask, never saw anyone in a week.

hmmm,
looks like that thing NEVER moves with the 'foo-foo-ray' on the front cap

but that's sort of a neat idea for permanent sites!
see the straps crossed in the front to hold it on and tent poles to bow it up... someone put some thought into that !

somewhat like done on house trailers (except they build a 'carport' like structure) to keep the sun off the roof and provide air flow across it...

actually, wouldn't the ac's GENERATE air flow from one end to the other since they are fans ?

In the past, one of the things I've admired about the full time folks is their ingenuity. They could take and convert something intended to spend weekends in and convert it into a full time castle. This guy must be one of those type of guys.....very resourceful.

This obviously keeps the sun off the top and the rain off......pretty smart idea. I don't like the looks of it but I guess it works.

I thought maybe he was trying to re-live the covered wagon days.

I can see doing that when we park it in AZ for six months, as long as it wouldn't impede the operation of the AC or collapse in a wind when you're gone and the AC is running - and really foul things up!
