RL vs GK

We are waiting for pricing on a 38rl and in the mean time my wife has decided she might like the GK. She likes the additional cupboard (storage in kichen)space in the GK. We have not seen either so any comments, advice pros and cons would be great....Thanks

we almost got the GK. We love it! However we did not want the extra sink in the bedroom and I wanted the bathroom in the RL. we chose what was best for us which was to create smaller need for pantry space. It has worked out great. It's different for everybody. I highly recommend you go inside of one before you decide.

The pantry is WHY my wife pushed us to ordering the gk
and sure enough I get to store some of "MY STUFF" in there too

At least we love the floor plan and split bath...

The 2nd pantry is what caught our eye and why we opted for the GK. It sure is nice having the extra space in the kitchen.

As far as the bath, we didn't think we'd care much for the 2nd sink. After having it, we really like that feature!

You can't loose either way. My wife didn't like the shower location in the GK or the stairs so we kept the RL. We do like the RL and the Slide-in-slide. I do have a problem with some of the 38ft models due to the reduced carrying capacities.

We really like our split bath, especially the big shower & the stacked W/D. I would highly recommend that you look first hand at all the different floor plans before making a decision as all of them have something different to offer, whichever suits your needs best.

Pour over floor plans and videos online so you get a feel for the differences in the plans. When you get to a dealer, plan on spending a LONG time in each model. We would explore each model, then just sit and get comfy and take it in, then go into a different one and repeat the process, all the time doing comparisons until we could make a decision. There is no perfect floor plan, each has its own unique features. Enjoy the process.

Steve and Linda are right, spend as much time in each unit and then do it again back and forth. You have to be comfortable. We wanted a front living room but finally settled on the 36 RL and love it.

We wanted to be able to get to the bathroom, bedroom and fridge without opening the slides.

In our 36FB we can access the right side of the fridge, the bath and bed when the slides are closed, our bath is split and the hall to the bedroom is in the center of the coach.

I noticed the 38RL also has an additional little pantry next to the fridge. Not sure which fridge option it was.

The big difference I see is whether you like the split bath or enclosed. We have always had the open bath before, and this time went to the enclosed. It has been a nice treat to allow others access to the bathroom without waking us. It looks like the split will work the same.

I have the same model, I like it because the bed is the only thing on the bedroom slide. They have had problems with the sinks being in the slide on other models. My washer and dryer is in the hall verses the front closet area. Full shower as well.

Buddy ~ the W/D in the RL is also in the hall. Side by Side. Have had no problems whatsoever with ours.
