Redwood new Brochure shows MoRde LRE 4100 Suspension

New Redwood Brochure on their Website shows the MoRyde LRE 4100 Suspension with Wet Bolts.

Also show "Solid Step" entry Steps from Lippert, similar to the MoRyde entry steps that were released last summer.

That's great news! Good for Redwood

They just need to make Disc Brakes standard and offer Mor/ryde IS as an option.

Looks like they really made the improvements they needed. 8000lb axels, H Rated tires, Samsung electronics, soft close cabinets. I guess they where listening. I think the only decision they will regret is the in-command center.

Last thought, Disk Brakes should not be an option.

They also reduced fresh water tank to 62 Gallons on ALL models.
And a smaller 35,000 BTU furnace, didn't see any more insulation values added anywhere.

I heard they also dropped the high gloss gel and went to Filon, at least from someone at the show.

I liked my MoRyde LRE on the Montana, but it did cause some problems on that cheesy I beam frame. Hopefully they put the X factor on as standard (that was MoRydes fix to the stress cracks in the Lippert webbing above the LRE).

So Falcon Integrated Technology (FIT) is actually not true anymore. Unless MoRyde is letting them call the LRE Falcon like Lippert did.

To me, the fact that they broke aliegance with Lippert and allowed Morryde in is HUGE ! ! They now have their foot in the door waiting for the chance to get farther in . .

Oh I agree Joe. Now that the old Redwood president is selling pontoon boats instead of swinging golf clubs with the VP of Lippert while their kids were in school together, the company will be a little more open minded.

It's funny you say that... when I was at Morryde last June getting the IS installed, i was invited to tour Redwood on an off day with Tim...

While there he asked me why I was in town, after hearing why, we talked at great length about Morryde, and how much better the coaches would be...

The following week I recieved an email from Gary at Morryde stating they were meeting with Redwood...

At some point after that, it was released that they were upgrading to the center point and NOT offering any Morryde products...
I guess they had a change of heart?? And I am sure that since the kids of Jason Lippert are no longer in shcool and best friends with kids from Redwood, that all changed.. who knows??
Bottom line, it seems like they listened on many issues, and are changing them little by little... good for them/us/future owners.

Looks like they are going to make a Montana out of the Redwood product after all

Why not, Landmark had it before Montana, but beware even with shades down if that window is facing the Sun it can get pretty warm.

I have never saw a Landmark with a front window. When did they make this?

With the black nose, our Redwood got pretty warm up there without the window! Used to warm bath towels and steam my pants in the closet.

A few years ago. We saw them when we were looking to move up to our 39MB. It was the Landmark 365 series, but don't recall the exact model number.

Not trying to be argumentative, but you sure it wasn't the Grand Design Reflection as they are the one who introduced the front window? I have looked at all years of the 365 and can't find were it was offered.

The Rushmore Lincoln by Crossroads had one of the first windshield/ windows in the front cap that I can remember. Actually think that Alfa put a front window on 5er and used the rounded cap on a hinge as an awning in 2005. I would think it would allow too much heat loss/ gain depending on the time of year. Lots of light that might be difficult to cover the curved surface to block it out efficiently. I also think Keystone uses a windshield in some model of travel trailer now.
