I liked the idea of the Alpha because they were different and doing new things. As much as I tried, I just couldn't get excited about them. There are folks seeking the MH's now due to the value that they offer compared to investment. Maybe the 5ers will get the same following.

General consensus I got was it was a brand to steer clear of.

I agree but there's a loyal group with a big following and support group. I was camping along side of a guy this past summer with one that looked new. With a low acquisition price and a good support group I guess they do ok. He said that there was a place in CA that they visit that could do about anything with them.
