Who was thatpulling the Redwood 36RL (not sure) with the red GMC / Chevy 2500HD SRW going north on I-69 around Fort Wayne, Indiana on Tuesday (01/31/12)morning at 8:00 AM. You sure were in a BIG hurry...........I was doing 73 mph and you passed me like I was sitting still. Friend, you need to slow down and watch the sunrise (and the traffic)! Ha!

Good luck with where ever you are going.

It was probably a transporting company taking the trailer to a dealer. At 73 mph how are you going to see the sunrise?

Just think, if it has the OEM Marathons they may be in for and explosion at that speed, with a rating of only 65 MPH. That was a subject of unknown factors on tires on another forum. You never know how the tires were treated before you buy a unit, Transportation from the Factory to Dealer, Dealers takeing them to shows. Unseen damage could be done to tires causing pre-mature failure when in use.

have been thinking that maybe that this Redwood was on its way to the Fort Wayne RV and Camping Show at the Fort Wayne Colliseum scheduled for this week end. It had to be a dealer from central Indiana because the Redwood factory is about 40 miles NW from where they passed me and they were about 10 miles south from where the show will be held. Hope they arrived safely.

After only one short trip with my Redwood 36RE I had to replace 3 of the Goodyear Marathon tires due to separation of the sidewall plys.I wanted to upgrade the tire to a G rated tire but couldn't as the rims that came with the unit were only rated for 80lbs psi and the G ratedtires require a rim with a110lbs psi rating. I am currently workingwith the dealer that Redwood used for the rims so Ican upgrade my rims andcan then can upgrade my tires.

Ours will be ordered with the "G" Rated tires and rims. You might also check with Goodyear, some members on the Montana Forum have been able to get an allowance for the Marathons when purchasing the G614s. Worth a try if you don't get anything from the Dealer or Redwood/Thor.
