Recliners replaced ??

We've had our RW for a year now and the recliners haven't improved .
Has anyone replaced theirs and if so which ones did you get? It's not easy to find a wall hugger plus narrow enough to fit the space in the 38 RE. My husband is a big guy and we are thinking Lazy boys ? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

We replaced our Recliners with a Lane Theater Seating unit that we bought for our previous 5th Wheel, fits the space great and is a very comfortable unit.
During move in day, we removed the recliners from our Redwood and put them in our Trade in 5er and put the Lane unit in our Redwood, never used the factory supplied recliners.

We were in Shipshewana last year for a week and purchased 2 Lambright swivel wall huggers and we love them. They were rather pricey but we think worth it. He was able to match the leather almost perfect to the loveseat. They are smaller in width and we found we were able to place those and a center end table (also purchased at Lambrights) in the same space as our original recliners. We sold the 2 recliners that came with the Redwood on Craigslist.

Our 38GK is only one yr old and we had to replace ours. Went with Lazy Boy. The hideabed couch had to fit in the small area so we had to measure very careful to make sure it fit. You would think the furniture would last more than a year.

The backs of the recliners can be removed. If I remember right, there are nuts on either side of the back. We replaced our recliners and couch shortly after our purchase as well. We have a Lane recliner and a custom made chaise lounge.

We replaced ours with Lazy Boy electric recline. I understand that all lazy boys backs come off. There are tabs at the bottom of the backs which lock/unlock. Tom

We replaced the factory junk with lazy boys. We gained about 3in in width (new ones less width than the factory ones) between the chairs and the dinette suite. We bought another end table ($100 from Crossroads) like the ones at each end of the couch, and put between the chairs. Perfect fit and a place to put beverages etc. As we say in Texas, "i love me some lazyboy chairs". So comfy and durable. That is the only brand of chair we have bought in the last thirty years.

Is your Lane difficult to sit in because of the height?

No - our Lane works fine in our RV and is fits me well. However it is not a wall hugger, which I will look to get when I replace this one.

Our Lane sits a little higher due to our Front Living floorplan layout.
With our FL layout the Lane Theater Seating unit sits in the Front Cap Area where there is about a 2 inch rise in the flooring due to the frame structure for the Pin Box under that area.
I am about 6' tall and DW is about 5' 6", for us the slightly higher seating is not a problem but for shorter people it may be a issue.

We have a 36FL and haven't found anything that will work for us due to the height and depth of our slide. I wonder if Lane makes a theater style in a wall hugger. We saw some nice looking recliners in a 2015 front living room model; however, the factory furniture doesn't seem very durable. We full-time and want something that will last. We don't mind spending extra for quality...just haven't found any thing that will fit!

Our Lane Theater Unit is a wall hugger, but the 38FL is laid out difference than the 36FL.
Our Front Cap living area seating floor is much lower than the Slide flooring.
That is one reason they changed the Front Living Slides on the new Front Living models to "Flush Floor" Slides.
When I move the theater seating unit into travel position, the slides clear the theater unit by inches.
I added a wood stop at the base as after we setup I have to slide the theater seating unit away from the wall about two inches for the backs to clear the rounded corners of the front wall.
Pretty easy to do and it works for us.

This is the model we have, found it at a local furniture store sale for 1/2 off list price a few years ago.

It matches the other furniture pretty good.

We have replaced ours with the LaZBoy love seat recliners. We love it and it matches almost exactly with our sofa. The style # is 480701. The cover is
LB 112177. I'm assuming that's leather and brown
