RE owners - please settle this ?

Vaughan and I were just discussing the RE layout. For those of you who like the RE layout, could you please tell me why? (Vaughan says it's because you like the size of the TV.)

When we were first looking at the Redwoods, our dealer had all the models on the lot. The RE just blew us away with the 55 inch tv, but my wife and me just couldn't get past that every seat to watch tv would require you to crank your neck 90 degrees and that's just something we couldn't get past.

Very true. I like the TV right in front of me

Right after we bought our RL, they started offering the 55 in the RL as well as the RE

I know I'm late coming in on this thread, but I have the RE and the TV does matter. I pull one recliner out in front of the island and turn the other so both are looking pretty much straight at the tv. I am a big movie person and with the surround sound system, this is what life is all about. Yup Size Does Matter.

Another late comer here ( as usual )

Our last fiver was an RE model and we kept turning the recliners on an angle to see the TV without a stiff neck... We swore our next trailer would be different..
For months , when we were trailer shopping my wife would walk into the trailer and go directly to the couch and chairs to see the TV . There were many that did not even get a further look!
THAT is exactly why we love the RL over the RE.. and basically , that is the ONLY difference , besides the 42" - VS - 55"..and quite frankly , when your looking at a TV straight on from 6' away , 42" is large enough for me !

That's one reason we didn't get a motorhome, most all we looked at had the TV above the driver/passenger seats & they were the only seats facing the TV if you didn't mind looking straight up.

I can see the tv just fine im usually in the kitchen area anyway

Turned recliners slightly or lay on the couch stretched out

90 degree viewing could be done in bedroom also mostly just sleep there and listen to weather channel anyway

2012 36 RE
