my unit sets by itsself in a open shelf to the right of the tv so heat is not the problem when i operate the tv rca said the tv interfred with the remote to the dvd player nothing can be done acording to them

We went thru 3 RCA units before we got an LG at the end of last season... will let you know how well that works when it warms up outside...

Remotes all function on different frequencies so interference between two separate units or brands are not the issue. RCA hasn't provided you with reliable accurate information

all i know is that if the tv is on the dvd doesn't work even if you stand in front of it turn off the tv the remote to the rca works fine on tunner

If you have or get the RCA rtb1100 throw it out. Just check Amazon for the 1100 and look at the reviews. It is a piece of crap. Have had two go bad and was sent an LG last May (2012) and it has been just fine. I cannot believe that Redwood is still placing these in rigs. But I am not suprised. It's about the looks not about the fuctionality.

This is NOT good!!! Brian was ONE of the reasons I purchased a RW!!!! i knew I could count on him when we were on the road traveling to get us fixed fast withlittleor no hassel!!!

As far as I amconcernedRedwood seems to be going down hill fast first Linda now Brian. I will be calling my dealership and having themforwardmy concerns!!!

Going back to the original post, we too have had our RCA replaced with an LG along withnumerousothercomponentsalong with all the electrical problems and and and!!

just got a call from rw told them of the problem with the rca they said they never heard of this and would check . they were concerned about the size? i told them what the modle was and they were going to check in the shop .i requested an lg and (you will love this) they don't use them anymore. i asked for something else willing to send back to them the unit there going to call me back sometime today i'll keep you posted as the sagga continues

Just took delivery of a 2013 36RE. It has a 55" LG TV and an LG DVD/surround sound unit in the main living area with a 26" Magnavox TV in the Bedroom where we added a SONY Blu-ray dvd player.

We changed out the 40" Toshiba in the living room to a 47" LGand love it. I am in the process of changing out 26" Magnavox in the bedroom to 32" LG unit and 50" in the pass through.



We are also replacing the RCA unit with a Marantz NR-1603 receiver and a LG Blue-ray player. I will be using the two rear channels (second zone)for the exterior and placing speakers up under the skirt of the coach so they will be out of site with a IR repeater to control the receiver.Edited by: KenM

We removed our sofa and bought a queen size air matress that we keep in the front closet until needed...We then added an 80 inch Vizio to the back wall....Then we added a 12 foot Vizio to the roof that has a motorized lift to raise and lower it as well as a hard cover for protection. It's called the Drive-In ...Also got 4 really nice heavy duty bean bag chairs for watching the 80 inch...

I think I'm going back to Bud Light this Miller Genuine Draft with Crown shooters is making me silly

Very cool! I was joking with my wife at the show inside a 36RE that there was enough room for that new Sharp 90" if we took the sconce lights off the wall.

Give it time and it won't be a joke. Watched an RV program on the telly last week and they showed a $500K+ MH with a TVbigger than ours at home (60"). Can't imagine the weight of a 90" TV.

The new Led's are very lite and don't emit as much heat like our Toshiba.
