It would be interesting to see, but I don't see how they could stop the issue unless they place the packs straight up and down. With the jacks currently at an angle, they try to spread as the coach is raised. With all of the weight on the jack pad it is difficult for them to spread further apart, hence the popping sound as the move slightly. My 2 cents.

I just spoke with a RW tech today and asked him about the popping and he said Lippert thinks they know the cause and are getting ready to issue a service bulletin. He said it was the type of oil being used in the system and they had a dozen or so test rigs across the country trying a different mixture with lubricant for the seals added to it. Don't know how true that is but it's from the horse's mouth or otherwise. Wait and see.

Yep, I've read a post on the Montana Forum where you remove a quart of so of the current ATF and add this special Fork Oil used in Moto-cross bikes. Still waiting to see something official from either RW or Lippert.

There was this post on the Heartland Owners forum with a memo supposedly from Lippert. Look at Post 132.

The thread has some people with success and some with failure...

Interesting reading...
