planning trips

We'll be planning a trip to Maine this fall with our new rig to eat lobster and look at the fall colors. Does anyone have suggestions on where to go?

I would think just about any where in Maine would be beautiful, we would love to get up there some day.

We've been married for 34 years this April and my wife and I have always said we'd someday like to go there in the fall,this year we will.

A few years ago we went up to the upper U.P. of Mich. and then circled down through WI durring the fall and it too was beautiful.

That sounds like a nice trip as well how were the roads up the there? The last time I was there they were pretty rough.

The roads we'nt that bad...remember I'm from Illinois..hell the moon would be smooth cmpared to our roads. I always figure if the ride smooths out I'd better get out of the ditch and back on the road. The picture in my signature is from the "upper U.P." by "White Fish Piont" the Tahquamenon falls. They have some very nice state parks.
