As new Redwood owners, we are finally heading out for the first time with our new 36FB. How do you experienced Redwood owners handle the overnight stops? Have any of you ever stopped for an overnight, remained hooked up to your vehicle without putting your leveling jacks down? If so does this affect your slideouts??

I've stopped and opened my slide without putting down the jacks as long as the rig is sitting fairly level.

I've over-nighted without unhooking but I put the jacks down to level the trailer a little. Use the manual mode instead of "auto level".

Have over nited numerous times. I put down the Front land legs to take just a little weight off the TV, then will manually extend the rear jacks just enough to stabilize the rig. We'll be doing just that Thursday and Friday as we travel South for the Winter.

We have stopped hooked up for a rest or snack while on the road this summer. Get a spot that is level and then manually extend the jacks to get close to level... helps the frig too.

Learning to use the manual mode of the LevelUp system comes in handy. I had to use manual mode to fix a flat tire once.
