The Convection/Microwave in the Montana was a MagicChef. We used it all last winter without a problem. Been using the Whirlpool in the RW since we picked it up last April.

That is our bread plus storage as well. Keeps everything fresh through all the seasons.

My 2013 Redwood 36FB has both the propane oven and convection microwave. Our dealer orders them that way.

Our RL came with both. Wife uses the oven as she likes it better. When she isn't using it I store my cookies in it!

When we got our first oven in a camper, I always thought it prudent to leave the pilot light on and my dearest wife always though it prudent to store bread in there wrapped in plastic. We quickly learned one of us was going to have to change. It was me

Anyone know how to adjust the temperature of the oven to match the dial? We have a thermometer in the oven and its off from 50 to 75 degrees from what we set the oven dial to.

good luck with that. That is the problem with gas ovens also, not very accurate. Just go by the thermometer you put in and learn to adjust.

All,

Found this on Ask.com... trailer too far away right now to confirm if this is correct form our ovens.

Behind the oven control knob, usually on the front console of the range,
is a small screw, usually flat blade type. You'll need a small
screwdriver to turn the thing, like one of the advertising ones that
clip into your pocket. Move it plus or minus a little then
try the oven to see how much you've adjusted the temp. If not enough or
too much you can make a further adjustment. It is not dangerous, as
you're not messing with the gas flow in any way. All you're doing is
adjusting the temperature point at which the oven cycles on and off to
maintain a temp.

Send a message via Yahoo to RollsRoyce

Sharon, Check out the members list for TXRVProfessor&Lady and send them a private message. Evada Cooper is a wonderful person with lots of knowledge on th convection microwave and has a cook book she can tell you about. Just for fun ask her about her famous black brownies and a Canton Tx cookout
