Out of stroke.??

Ok gang , this is my first auto leveling system , so I am not 100% sure of it....

I pulled into a site in Ohio last night and did not realize that the front of the site was as low as it really was...

I in hooked and hit auto level... After doing a series of normal things , it looked perfect , then it beeped and stated it was out of stroke?? The front legs are extended all the way , and the camper feels stable , and level...

So , when I go to leave tonight , am I ok just to hit the right and left buttons as usual to return the camper back to hitch night , or do I have to do something special since it is out of stroke >?

Joe

Joe - try the right and left as usual although I can't tell you the last time I used that command as I always have to adjust height a bit anyway. If I'm level or reasonably so I'll just raise or lower the front only and then hitch and do an Auto Retract.

If the right and left doesn't work, I would probably retract the rears manually a little bit and then manually lift or drop the front to hitch.

Thanks Vaughan.... That is what I had planned on doing... It just asked me to hit enter to confirm , so I did, it then showed " level/jacks down " So I am thinking that I am ok....???

ya, everything is normal. Mine would do that in the street in front of the house. Initially I would block the front to level it, but because it was temporary I quit bothering with the blocks.

Acknowledging it is correct, and then it just tells you the jacks are down vs up. You probably don't have the green light in the middle indicating you are level, or if you do they were just not quite long enough to make it perfect but overall you are level.

if it's THAT out of level, you DO have BIG wedge chocks in front of all tires, don't you ?!?

would hate for it to start 'walking' downhill on it's own !

Thanks to all that posted...

I am all packed up, manually retracted the legs, and set up at my spot in Elkhart..

And YES... I always use BIG herd rubber commercial wheel chocks before I unhook from the truck....
