Ok...I tried the European bed and I guess my old back is just not European enough. I finally got around to completing the switch from the European bed to the Select Comfort Sleep Number Bed. WOW.... I can sleep.

My wifeee has sleep problems too...even here at home and our mattresses in the guest room and our bedroom are upgrades from the originals we purchased and they still have only lasted a couple years under warranty.May have to get them to upgrade again...they did not charge the difference in price the first time since the beds didn't seem to be as good as they had warrantied...if they won't do that again for another upgrade we may join those of you have oneand get a sleep number too...We haven't priced any yet are they reasonable for RV's?

The Redwood has a full size bed so we bought a new bed for home and took our old one from home and put it in the trailer. They are now offering 36 month same as cash and I like using other peoples money for free.
I made the base by cutting 2 pieces of plywood and attached them on top of the original "European" frame with self taping screws. I drilled a one inch hole in the side of the bed base to run the power line for the plug and then just put the pump under the bed.
