I am planning on getting the Michelin XTA 2 Energy 245/70R17.5 J rated tires. Single tire rated at 6005 pounds @ 125PSI. I seen were a 5er had them on a 20K rig and loves them. Question is will they be a rougher ride? Thoughts?

You aren't going to feel it in the truck.

Everybody told me I would get a rougher ride when I went to G-rated at 110 psi on the rig I have. Never noticed a bit of difference in the ride, or the cargo. In fact, it was nice to look in the mirror and not see the tire flex like bubble gum. Edited by: atom ant

lol, I guess if Redwood put these tires plus everything else everyone wants upgraded, I wouldn't have paid just 79,000.00. You can go get a New Horizon with 3 axle and all the other bells and whistles, but I did my homework and love my Redwood and will put the necessary extra's on one at a time.
