Magnavox TV fried

On our last night coming home from Tucson our bedroom TV fried when we turned the main breaker on. Has anyone else had this issue? What would have been the cause. The unit is a Magnavox in a 2013 36FB?

Are you using a surge protector?. A spike in voltage could fry all your electronics in the RV. Do not trust that all RV parks are voltage correct! I can't tell you how many times my surge protector has discovered a problem with the park's electric.

Same here, our Progressive EMS has saved the coach at least three times that I know of (and probably more that I don't).

I'll chime in. A while back, while plugged in to the 50A here at home, I fried the bedroom tv, the fireplace caught fire, fried the BluRay, the Dirt devil vac and a contactor in the transfer switch. All due to a loose ground in the plug in the rear of the coach. Since then, hardwired a Progressive in and no problems since, knock on wood.

Yes we had a surge protector on. I learned the hard way last year. Thanks.
