Level up system power

The other day I tried to raise my level up legs and got a "low power/voltage" warning. I reconnected the 50 amp service and all worked normal. I had been connected for over a week on 50 amp shore power with the inverter on and batteries charged/charging. This had happened once before when i was just on a normal 115 outlet but thought it may have been the power was not enough to run them. Any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated. We do have a generator and it would not start either when disconnected from shore power.

Sounds like your batteries are toast!. Or loose connections not letting them charge.

Try tightening all your connections. I had exactly the same problem. Turned out to corrosion (can't see it) or slightly loose connections at the bus bar in the battery compartment. Also clean and tighten battery connections and common ground on the wall. After tightening all worked well.

I agree with checking all battery and cable connections at the charger bar. Might be low water in battery (ies). If battery won't charge properly and hold power then the level up system won't run due to low voltage.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will check into it in more detail next weekend when i get the rig back to my house. More questions now:

I am assuming the 2 batteries next to my generator are the only batteries. Aren't they maintenance free these days? I have not seen any in a while that require water but am used to mostly car batteries.

The inverter/converter located in the basement. Is the green light always on or just when power is available? Can't seem to find a manual on this with my other paperwork.
