Level up problems

Dealer recently replaced the driver side front jack and since then I am having problems. That jack goes down and retracts with all the other jacks. Even when I hit raise or retract rear it also raises and retracts. Fluid was three quarts low when I picked it up which I since added. Lippert thought there might be air in the system. I have raised and lowered many times and still not working right. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you may have to reprogram / reset the system to default settings. Have no clue how to do it, but you can simply google level up web site for instructions.

Sounds to me like the Dealer hooked up the lines wrong. There is a valve mounted on the top of that jack with opens when calling for the landing jacks, but since yours is operating with the rear jacks, the front jack must be getting fluid at the same time, while the curb side jack isn't because the valve isn't open. Kind of hard to fully explain in words, but I've been working on the hydraulic system because of our slide issue and kind of understand what they're doing and how they are suppose to work.

Level up Problems

I am also wondering if they got the lines mixed up. Could anyone send me a picture of their driver side front jack so I can compare hose colors and locations? Thanks.

Dealer called and said we can pick up the trailer. Was told they had installed the hydraulic lines incorrectly when they put the new jack on.

Interesting...they evidently didn't test the operation after the repair. QC is getting bad everywhere. Sad.

EXACTLY!! Anyone with basic common sense knows that if you repair something..... you test it to make sure it's now working properly.... Geeze, how dumb !!

It makes a person wonder what type of training some of these tech's receive. We put our faith and confidence in their abilities, and we are either blessed or cursed by their work! For us that live full-time in our RW's, it's not always an easy to to just take it back in to get it fixed correctly. We had our refrig repaired in May, now 1,300 miles from the repair facility, we are having the same problems again.

This is one reason I wish Redwood (or the new owners group) would put some real effort into creating a "Service Network" directory for getting work done from WHEREVER you may be. If I were doing it, I would make it so we all could click LIKE or DISLIKE or leave comments under each listing, like they do on Amazon.com!! Then we could minimize going to a TERRIBLE service facility and it would greatly improve fulltime life. Then, where ever you are, you can easily shop for service within a radius of where you are that is a Crossroads provider of warranty work (or not, for those who are out of warranty) Just seems to make sense, I see this ALL the time and one of the biggest challenges for fulltimers in these rigs, "WHERE DO I GET GOOD SERVICE?"
