I have found 1.5 w LED Lights that take the place of 10w halogen. We have a 2011 36RL Redwood and have replace all of the lights for $80.00. These led's are just as bright as the halogen and use a lot less power and last 10 times longer. Here are the spec's

Base: G4</span>LED Chip: 5050</span>Light Color: Warm White (3000~3300K)</span>Input: DC 12V</span>Power:1.2W</span>Standby Current: 120mA</span>Max Current: 240mA</span>Lumen: 160 Lm</span>Life time: about 30,000 hours</span>Angle:160</span>

How many LED lamps did you buy for $80.00? The price shown on ebay now at that auction number is $11.88 each. I think I counted30 or more of these lamps in our 36RL. That is roughly $360. to $400. to replace all of the lamps.

That 11.88 is for 4 Leds. If you look it's 4x for 11.88.

I wonder how they will hold up for that price. Seems a little inexpensive to me.

I did some tinkering with LED's last summer and didn't find anything I really liked. That said I'm going to try these and I also ordered one each of a 3.5 watt LED that puts our 240 lumens. I'd like to know what the factory puck lights put out but from my lighting background in theater years ago I'm guessing about 300 lumen as the factory lights are bright and hot. I'll report back after my test. I'm getting them from LEDwholsalers and at $11 each they aren't cheap.

REDWOOD: If you're listening, the day has arrived for LED lighting please. In quantity they can be equal to halogen I'm told and you can save on wiring.

Boy, LEDs are all over the map -lumens output; shape (tower or disk); number of LEDs per bulb; whatever the "11__ww" stands for; color temperature (in degrees Kelvin); 1, 1.5 or 3W usage;

Does anyone have specific suggestions on LED replacements for the 20W Halogen ceiling lights that put out approx same Lumens and color?? How about a specific source &amp;part number on a "quality" bulb you're happy with.

Don't need $4 bulbs, or feel like I'm livingin a fluorescent spray booth...

If a personhates CFLs, will they ever be happy with LEDs? Is "warm white" (3000-3500K) yellow enough?

Actually, LEDs do sound like just the thing for someone who isdry-camping often.

We replaced all the halogen bulbs in our Airstream with "warm white" LEDs. I am not crazy about the color. There is still something sort of "blue" about them. They change the ambiance. And not for the better, in my opinion.

The 20W Halogens put out 250 Lumens. The 10W Halogens put out 100 Lumens.
