The dealer was told by the Parts dept at Redwood that they cant get the 3 1/2 anymore, don't stock it and don't know where to get them. They suggested to my dealer that I cut the 3 1/2 hole larger to fit the 4 1/2! hahahaha Could not believe it. I am shocked this is the kind of support we have from Redwood especially from a unit only 1 yr old. I think I have found what I need on Ebay and possibly 1 other location.
Or the dealer doesn't want to deal with it so never even ask Redwood ... If you buy them from Tiera RV then I'd send the receipt to Redwood for reimbursement. I'll bet the dealer you were talking to had 4 1/2 lights and didn't want to deal with the smaller ones .... Just a guess

Unfortunately, in 2014 model year, Redwood decided they would upgrade to LED fixtures where the lamps can't be removed/replaced. I suppose the thinking was that LED's rarely fail, so, no need to have removeable lamps. WRONG!!! I recommend you find the old style fixture and buy LED lamps for them.
Guy could you tell me the model numbers and your source for the LED's for the older RW's. I keep having a few going out and would like to transition to LED's. The local RW dealer charges about $5 a bulb for the halogen and told me there was no way to use LED's in them.

Dean, you can do a search and find any number of suppliers that have 2 Pin LED replacements for those power hungry Halogens. That was one of the first mods we did to our previous 36RL. You can find LED replacements for just about every type of bulb out there. I had ordered most of ours through a member on the Montana Forum, but they have stopped supplying now.

Unfortunately, another case of the dealer doesn't know what he is talking about!!! Folks have been replacing the two pin 20 Watt and 10 Watt lamps for the past four or five years at least. Here is a link to M4Products where I have been purchasing my replacement lamps. If you buy 10 or more, there is a 10% discount. Last winter, at one point, they also offered an additional 15% discount. Their products are constructed well and have held up quite well over the past two years that I have been using them......no failures yet.

M4s Best and Brightest Elite Series Retrofit LEDs

The Elite series is what I have been using and are available in "Cool White", "Warm White" and "Natural White". I prefer the Natural White but you may want to try one of each to decide which white you prefer

Hope this helps.
