Icicles where I don't expect them

I hope the pictures show up. I have icicles hanging from the bottom on the back of the curbside living room tip out. The first time I saw them I plugged in the trailer and put the living room out expecting to see a snow drift inside. Nothing, not even any dampness. As I removed them I noticed that the trailer body there is essentially hanging free and can be moved a little away from the rubber seal. I conjured up that the snow storm we had caused drifting just in that little area then the sun melted it and created the icicles. That was a month or so ago. We haven't had another snowstorm until last Monday, and it was a pretty good blowing drifting storm. Today was the first time the sun has really come out and sure enough there are the icicles. After taking the pictures I again examined and didn't find snow just the icicles. I am probably going to have to wait until another good blowing drifting snow storm and then go out right away to see where the snow is accumulating. I did not put out the tip out this time as it is very cold and it was cold the last time and it seemed like the tip outs didn't want to move very well. I know the hydraulic fluid is supposed to be OK in the cold but I don't want to chance it again. Has anyone else experienced these icicles?

I haven't seen this on mine, but considering the location could it just be drainage from melting snow on your roof

I think it's just drainage off the roof too. I've got ice all over mine right now too. I'm going to fire up the furnace today to melt the snow off the roof in preparation for our trip next week.

I don't think it's coming from the roof. There is no snow hanging over and the gutter has a little snow int and a very long icicle hanging down, probably 4 feet long

It looks like your outer skin is separated from the slide. It should be flush with the body with the slide in. Did you check to see if some of the screws on the brackets holding it have come loose. This could cause blowing snow to get in between it and when it melts run down the inside of the outer skin

That looks pretty normal to me.

I had pushed the bottom in a little on the bottom picture. It does sit against the rubber of the slide even though the to picture shows a gap. I haven't been under to see if there are brackets. I will probably wait till some of the snow is gone before i go crawling around under there

Nope. The side wall roll in a little and with the seals RW uses, the slides don't fit flush.

I would agree, if looking at the bottom portion of the slide. That area seems to be off for sure.
