Depends on where your Fridge Is? But probably not. The Slide would probably interfere with it and You need a Water Shut off valve someplace close to access.

Just my 2 cents.

I would've thought behind the convenience center would be closer, easier to get to a valve, & it still has to move with the slide. That's good idea, may investigate further as I've had replacing that line on the to-do list for a while now.

I think the ice maker water line feeds off the cold water supply to the kitchen sink because all of the lines move as one within the kitchen slide. The challenge of running the ice maker line to the basement is the fact that now you'll have movement in that line which might contribute to the line hanging up on something.

It is s 36RL with an island sink. I don't see anything under the sink that would lead me to believe there is an ice maker line waiting for me. There is no other water in that slide but there is an LP line that probably does go straight to the basement. I'm thinking that might be the route.

Well then, that may be a perfect route for you. Any possibility of attaching the water line to the propane line with zippy ties maybe?

That might be the answer because you know the LP line won't kink while being extended or retracted during slide movements.
