ice maker line winterizing?

can some one point out witch line I need to plug for ice maker to not freeze its already 17 degrees outside. also I was wondering if I can add some rv winterizing fluid in to my water holding tank and turn water pump on just to protect while hooked up. I understand that the fins in the water pump aver very fragile.

Run the pink through the entire system and then unscrew both water lines going into that solenoid (this way the solenoid has pink in it). The small line goes up to the ice maker which I used to blow into. The other water line is connected under the sink where there's a shutoff.

I just want to winterize my water pump I'm staying in the Rv over winter. Full timers (or should I not worry about the pump and holding tank

I don't think there is a good way to winterize the water pump and still run city water. The pump is right next to the furnace, so it's not real vulnerable anyway.

If you are just staying in the trailer,

• close the valve for the ice maker under the sink.
• disconnect the tubing at both ends (at valve and at solenoid) and blow it out.
• You can reconnect it then for later use, but leave the valve off.
• Finally disconnect the lower connection at the solenoid and let the water drain out of the solenoid* and ice maker line.
• reconnect that line as well - ready for use when you are.

*NOTE -that white wire wrapped around the line and solenoid is heat trace, so as long as the fridge is running there isn't much risk on that part freezing anyway, but I would drain it.

that works thanks for the answers. so the line going to the right is probably going under the sink and the line covered with the blue stuff goes to my ice maker.

yeppers. That blue stuff insulates the heat trace.
