Heat Floor Vent in Bedroom

We have a 2013 36FB and just started using it full time. Found out that the floor vent in the bedroom (at foot of the bed) has no heat coming out of it. May not be hooked up? Has anyone had this problem with this unit?
Thanks for any help.

All or most have had this problem, duct work has fallen down in basement area. I used 3 pieces of 1/2" aluminum strap to reattach.

thank you for your quick reply. I know about the basement, but how do you get to the duct work. can you take off both side walls and can you remove the celling? We are in Texas but unusually cold for this time of year.

You can get to it by removing center section of basement wall & it will be just overhead to the left. I even got my large mid section into that opening! Duct was duct taped originally, but once heated doesn't stick, as I said, used 3-1/2" pieces of aluminum strap, cut length between aluminum floor joices, drilled each end & put one on each end & one between ducts, screwed in with self-taping screws.

Ditto on the bedroom floor duct coming loose. Caught it in our inspection prior to taking delivery. The Redwood mechanic removed the basement wall to reach the duct. Not sure if this would work for you in the Texas cold however I have worked in the basement with the lights on during our Midwest bone chilling days. The basement is heated so with the side doors down it is cozy inside (block one door to prevent any chance of latching). I just set all my stuff/junk on the ground while working in the basement area.

Thanks!

Just finished fixing my 'fallen' bedroom vent duct. Couldn't have done it without all the help from this site & the people that took the time to share their expertise. Thanks again for helping a Redwood newbie! :

As discussed earlier, they should have used heat activated tape or used a couple of the dozen screws they left under there.
