Gray & Galley tanks leaking

I have 2013 38 FB Redwood and having leaking problem with Gray & Galley tanks. The slide valves are open and nothing comes out of discharge outlet. I have leaking coming from underbelly. My tank indicates gray is full and galley 3/4 full. Similar forum issues regarding this problem indicate possible tank placement design. Need help on how to resolve problem. Do not want to travel with tanks full and need assistance on how to remove water.

Sounds like you have a blockage either in the tanks or more likely in the line, but it's hard to diagnose from here. As far as the indicator readings, I wouldn't trust mine, they haven't 'sworked from the beginning. You may havhave to drop the belly pan just to be sure valves are opening.

Ya I'm wondering if the gate valves actually didn't open, rather something came apart on the cable. Doesn't help with the leak though.

Is there not a vent on these 2 tanks. I know usually you can tell when they are full because water backs up into the sink shower etc. Most of the leaks in rvs are from loose connections somewhere either drains or water lines.

The vents to through the roof. I agree, on my FB once the grey fills it backs up into the shower. I suggest opening 1 valve at a time & turn on faucets to watch outside (assuming you have a clear section on your hose, if not I highlhy recommend doing so) to confirm they are draining. You shouldn't have to run much into each tank to tell for sure, so if they are in fact full.
