I don't know if this will help butI was talking to the service manager at the dealership where I bought my 36FL and he told me to check the ground wires that bolt the the frame.
They are the green wires located at the rear of the battery compartment. I guess they were having a number of service calls for electrical issues and discovered that many were caused by poor ground connections. They remove the ground wires, clean the paint from the frame and reconnect the ground wires. Since discovering the ground issue they have all but solved their electrical issues. The major effect it was having was on the LevelUp system causing them to replace several ECMs.

Good point...................I had a similar issue on a car that I owned several years ago. The headlights would flicker every time the alternator would kick in to charge the battery. Long story short, the problem turned out to be a rusty ground connection to the frame of the vehicle.

I have said it before and I'll say it again.....I think Redwood is a good product BUT all RV's should come with a bottle of Jack and a tool box. These units are rolling earth quakes, bouncing up and down the highways. I haven't heard of an RV yet without problems unless they're the no frills tent camper that doesn't have much to go wrong to begin with. These complicated trailers have all the comforts of home but without the stability of a foundation.

It is frustrating though when we find quality control problems that should have been caught. The factory so far has stood by the problems I've had on mine that I couldn't fix myself. And that is what I wanted to begin with. I used to have a trailer made by Forrest River and when I had problems with it, the factory wouldn't help in the least.

Granpa, here is link to low voltage boost unit. Note it doesnt provide surge protection just boosts low voltage one finds at many places, especially during a warm afternoon. This boost doesnt come free though as it trades current capacity for voltage. Works great for me so far. BTW, when installing this next to transfer switch I found the main ground wire to frame coming out of xfer switch just sitting loose in its grounding lug...not good. So yes check those ground connections for sure!

We had the same issue (flickering lights) with our 2012 36RL. We had to replace the light bulbs over the island 3 times in less than a year. The dealer replaced the 1046 bulbs w/1004 bulbs. Though dimmer, using the lower watage bulbs seemed to work.
