Fill the hole

Ok all you full timers I need help,
I am replacing my steps to Mor/Ryde 4 steps and now what do I do with the hole?
I was thinking of having a box made out of sheet metal with a door so I can keep the wheel chucks in it or maybe the pads for my jacks. It looks to me like I can fit a 11" deep X 12" tall X 28" wide box. Any ideas would be most welcolm.
Thanks much,
Cliff

I'll be watching. I put my steps on, but haven't taken the old ones off yet. Thought about putting a box there as well, maybe on a slider so I can hinge it on the top and slide it out.

According to Gary Wheeler at the Rally Mor/ryde is working on a box to install in the opening, but with so many different size openings weren't sure what they would come up with.

Lippert has those polyvinyl sliding compartments that can be installed under frame, wonder how one of those would work.

I found an aluminum box with two locks that will slide in and has a front door that opens top down so it will act as shelf when Open. 29"wide x 15"tall x 9" deep, looks like it will mount on the same brackets. As soon as it comes I will post pictures.
Happy days
