Electricity Usage Stationary Full Timming

We have been full timing in our unit for five months in the great State of Georgia. One surprise to me with my DW requiring a coach temperature of 74 or 75 is our power usage. Our highest electric bill so far has been $105. This includes a utility shed with a full size washer and dryer. The fact that we are in the shade may be helping the low bills! It is surprising how comfortable it is living in 405 square feet. So far we believe we made a wise choice in purchasing our RW even though it was used. I know before we start making some extended trips next year there are some things to tend to (suspension). I hope at the end of the upcoming winter months we are still as happy as we are now.

Thats a great bill! (compared to my $400)

I've stayed up to two weeks in the Redwood and have never felt cramped, tired of it, or ready to go home. Quite comfortable coaches and we have the factory bed and chairs.

We lived in ours for almost 6 months last winter and I wasn't really ready to go home. I think we'll do it again this winter. Off to AZ in less than a month.

Most people think we are crazy but we are both from military families (mine Air Force and hers Marine Corps) We both came from families of seven and lived in 800 to 900 square foot houses. So 400 square foot is nice to us

But those factory chairs, they will have to go soon as they are the most uncomfortable things. The bed we swapped out with a queen mattress from the house. In fact that is the only thing we kept from the house Talk about liberating getting rid of all ones junk!

We have been in ours since January and have not gotten tired of it at all. We have plenty of space for two PPL. We will be staying put here in Oregon in our RW for the Winter. Our Elec is covered in our monthly space rental so we use the heat pumps and the fireplace alot along with a heater in the bedroom. Last year I think we only used the Furnace once or twice. We talked about building a new house here in Oregon but at this point we are loving the RW and Full timing.

Ya those early chairs were an odd bunch. They didn't recline all the way, and were just uncomfortable. They had just changed to a different chair when we bought ours and they are fantastic - at least to me. I'm can be asleep within 8 sec.

Mary and I both like our recliners. I don't think it takes me that long to fall asleep. We also added a Costco foam mattress topper to the standard bed (from our last SOB) and a don't take much longer to fall asleep there either.
