Diamond Collection furniture

Is the Diamond Collection furniture suppose to be leather or is it vinyl? We thought it was suppose to be leather but it is vinyl.

Don't know if mine is Diamond Collection, but its feux leather, kind of like the feux cedar in the closet.

It's genuine artificial leather.

Compliments the feux falcon frame and feux 5 year warranty pretty well

Seriously though - I think there are pros and cons to the feux leather, but ours is holding up pretty well. I'm not sure real leather couch cushions would look so well after getting pinched into the slide as many times as ours have. Gives me a heart attack everytime, but all comes out OK.

To my surprise I have found (after owning lots of leather furniture ) that I actually prefer the faux leather. It keeps its color consistency, it doesn't fade in sunlight or scratch, and it doesn't need to be conditioned and cared for so carefully. It does not stain if something gets spilled on it. It's actually very durable and I like it. This surprised me I thought I would be disappointed.

A few people have commented at Hershey about the damage their cats are doing to the furniture and we've experienced this first-hand. We have the flex steel theater furniture in our family room at home and I don't think I've seen a single scratch on that. Would love to see that in RV furniture.

We have our four cats in our RL for three years almost full time and no problem, BUT we do carry several pieces of Cat Furniture that include scratching areas for them to scratch on. If you don't give them something, they will find something on their own and you might not like it.

To be honest we put the two factory recliners that were in our FL at delivery in our trade and put our real leather Lane Theater Seating in our Redwood.
The two Faux Leather sofas in our slides are rarely used, well we keep a blanket on one sofa for the puppy dog to sleep on, but they are holding up well.

Your wish has come true

Travel Trailer & 5th Wheel Seating | Flexsteel.com

That's what we had in our older MH. I think they have been doing it years.

Right after I posted that, I looked online and saw a company, Brad and Hall, that sells Flexsteel RV furniture. They're based in Elkhart. I think we'll stop by on our next trip out there. It's not cheap, but if it holds up, I would think it would be worth the investment.

I have scratch objects for ours as well. The damage that was done wasn't due to their need to stretch and scratch, but from leaping and trying to grab onto something, or leaping off when they got startled, and mostly from when the one was a kitten.

Furniture

Tracy, & Vaughan

If you go to Bradd And Hall, You will have to look us up. They are about one mile from our house. They had a Dutch Star and 2 other rv's outside waiting to get worked on. Couldn't see what they were doing inside behind closed garage doors.
