Our RW doesn't have the built in filter, but we have an external Omni whole house filter that we have used for over 10 years. I don't know what the T-03 or C-1 filter cartridge is, but the cartridges for my filter are available at your home improvement places like Menards or Home Depot, and most of them say they are for city or well water. I don't really worry about it anyway since unless a person stays in a class 10 campground, they have safe tested water anyway.

That's kind of the idea I was thinking of. Did you purchase a cartridge type filter like the one that comes with the Redwood?

Yes. Found filter canister on sale @ Camping World, but they ate @ Walmart, Lowe's, H.D., any building supply. Also cartridges available @ those stores also, cheaper than CW.

Our filter became contaminated this summer and we purchased a two canister system from The RV Water Filter Store. I removed my coach filter, and attached the new white system to the side rail under my service door. Added quick disconnects and a shut off valve. These filters are storable when in use. I am using a SED5 filter and a KDF-GAC. They have a very informative site and even online help with your questions. Our water is now great.

I have been using the RV Water Filter Store filters for the past decade. They are exceptional with customer service. I am currently using my previous 2 filter system "externally" from my 31SL. Can you give me details on how you mounted the filters in your service area?

I "C" clamped a block of wood to the upside of the "I" channel and put two screws in to hang the filter combo. Took a few minutes. Big expense for the two "C"clamps. This whole thing comes off in seconds and sits in a short plastic bucket purchased at any hardware for storage.
