I think that ceiling is going to have to come down. It sounds like the duct work is resting on the ceiling. I haven't tried to pull down the ceiling yet but the service guys might be able to give you some pointers. Send that video to redwood and they may be able to get it fixed at a dealership near you.

I think you're right Dave. I am going to email the video to Redwood and then ask them to help with advising our service center how to fix it. I don't want them squirting any more caulk in there...Thanks.

That is why we are only using the other heat pump by itself. The other one is TOO NOISY!
We obviously can only speculate but it sounds all the more reason for it to be the intake duct for that unit laying on the ceiling. the front unit and the back unit draw air from diferent directions on the intake. I dont know enough about the fan only to speculate why it doesnt do it when only the fan is on. But with the heat and ac the duct is expanding and contracting but still just laying on the ceiling. Does it get worse or better the longer it runs? The heat should get worse and the ac get a little better. IMHO.

Well, the AC didn't seem to do it much, maybe a little. You may be right. That makes sense. The heat gets worse the longer it runs.

There was loose tape in our ducts as well. I took a digital bore scope and looked up in the ducts and found the piece. The bore scope came with a hook, I placed it on the end and hooked the tape and pulled it out. There was also other debris in the duct.

I have a new business idea.....I'll train chipmunks to run into the ducts and retrieve debris from RV vents. I'll put cute little hard hats on them to make them look official.

mmmmm.... I'll get rich because these little guys will work for peanuts.
