Carpet replacement;

My wife and I are wanting to replace our carpet in the living and possibly the bedroom in our 2013 36RE? I have read several posts about this. We want to replace the carpet with laminate flooring thru the whole living/kitchen area. I am a bit perplexed about whether or not to try and do the carpeted slide areas? Any feedback and or pics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Look for Shane Wood's previous posts in a search. He had someone in SoCal I think install laminate throughout the coach and it looks fabulous. I'm so jealous.

Any idea about how much weight it adds?

Maybe 100lbs at most. Offset by the weight of carpet and under lay
