Can someone tell me my thinking is flawed ??

I am looking to add a power distribution block to the back side of my wet bay for when I use the portable macerator..

The way I see it, I can just jump the red wire to the RED side post of the inverter where the cable comes from the battery.... AND the black to the black side...

Correct ?????? Am I missing something?

Just make sure you include some overcurrent protection:

Fuse or circuit breaker. Battery fault current is frightening and it can burn you
bad.

If your 5th has a residential style frig why not find the wire where it go out to the slide and tap into that. I would think they have a accessible splice point under the belly rap. just run a new 14-3 sjeo cord to a new GFI in the water room.

XCMARK, if the RW has a residential style refrigerator, then it should be ran off an Inverter. Not sure I would tap into that SJ cord for a power source. Inverter has its own transfer switch to detect shore power and allow pass through if 110v is present. Mess the transfer switch and inverter up and it would have been cheaper to run a new circuit. Just saying.
